“I travelled to Glasgow to find a wedding dress after my mum and I had researched some stores online. Over two days, I dragged my mum and my four aunties across the city, and it’s safe to say that I tried on nearly 50 dresses! Each one was beautiful in its own way but there was always something missing, I felt like I was playing “dress up” and it was getting so overwhelming. At Melle Cloche we were welcomed by Jac and Lisa who asked the question “what are you looking for?” I scanned the rail and within five seconds, I pointed to what was to become my dress, and said ‘That!” I knew that I had an idea of what I wanted, but the Daria dress really surpassed all expectation, the moment I tried it on it instantly felt like MY dress, no more acting like a bride, this time it was me and it was real! Every detail was perfect, the sparkles, the scalloped sweetheart neckline and then the drama at the bottom which added an element of fun and youthfulness that I wanted!” -Jessica
