“I really wanted my mother in law to be able to come with me to my dress try on so I specifically looked for locations in between my parents home and my fiancés home. I had seen some wonderful reviews for Finery in Rochester and chose to book an appointment with them. The second we all stepped in, I could feel how much care and effort was about to be put into finding me the perfect dress. As my stylist walked us through the store, what styles of dresses were where, and how I would pick what to try on, I couldn’t help but stare at one specific dress. I remember my stylist saying “Oh, it looks like you already have your eye on something”. I stared at the beautiful side details, the deep cuts, and that incredible triple yolk. I had fallen in love without even looking at a single other dress. I picked out a few other dresses to try on and headed back to the dressing room. When I saw the Annabella dress and its “Eddy K Dreams Collection” Tag I knew it was fate. As practically every person dreaming of a wedding does, I had been looking at dresses from the first few months I started dating my now-husband. Back then, I remember seeing the Kyra from the 2018 Dreams collection and really liking that style. It felt only fitting that putting on Annabelle for the first time I felt like an absolute princess. Coming out of the dressing room my entire team (mom, sister/MOH, mother in law, and grandmother) made a collective “awe” sound and then the room went silent. It was at that moment that I knew this dress was the one! Of course I did get to try on a few other Eddy K dresses because I loved all of the designs the Finery carried. After placing the order for my dress, I watched and looked at the Eddy K instagram page daily to just get another glimpse of my beautiful dress. Every fitting before my wedding was such a great occasion for me to be able to put on my incredible dress again. The day of my wedding I remember staring at my dress and holding back tears of excitement just to put it on (and to marry my husband).
