“Finding a dress during a pandemic was definitely not how I expected to spend the early stages of wedding planning! This meant I couldn’t have all the friends and family there to search with me, but luckily my mom was by my side the whole time! We had been to 4 stores and tried on at least 50 dresses when I finally booked an appointment on a whim at Bridals by Jodi in Charleston SC! I’m so glad I did, because after so many dresses that weren’t for me, we found Eddy K dresses and I tried on the Cala gown. I knew it was the one as soon as I put it on! It had the princess feel I wanted but with a romantic and mature twist. The sweetheart neckline, flower appliqués, and off the shoulder straps were what did it for me. I didn’t expect to get emotional when I found the gown…but I may have teared up a little! The dress was better than I could imagine and gave me so much confidence! Not only did it outdo my own expectations, my groom, Tate, could not have been more pleasantly surprised and in awe of it!” -Michelle
