“I always knew I would choose a ballgown for my wedding. I wanted that princess feel once in my life! I live in Alberta but my family is in Ontario. I wanted them to be part of the dress experience, so I flew home to go to Once Upon A Time Weddings in Strathroy. My sister got her dress here too, so I felt it was right to go in after her amazing experience. I booked the Ultimate VIP experience which was so wonderful. I had the Eddy K Hollace dress in my mind ever since OUTW posted it on their Instagram. When I came in, it happened to be out of my budget so it wasn’t pulled as an option. I tried on about 6 different dresses and none of them screamed “the one”. I was still thinking about the Eddy K Hollace dress. I could not get it out of my mind so I decided to ignore my budget. I tried it on and instantly felt like a princess. The details in the top, the flowers throughout the dress, the horsehair tulle layers… I fell in love! Bonus; it fit me almost perfectly right off the rack which was also a sign! When the curtain was pulled back, everyone I brought with me gasped. Even they knew it was the one. You just have to go with your gut and sometimes… you have to ignore the budget for THE dress!” – Rain
